A BIT OF BACKGROUND

Here in the Scottish Highlands is home to a professional team of working and show dogs, Foxhope Gundogs and Taliory Dalmatians, Reputable breeders of fully health tested gundogs and Dalmatians. Home to the one and only Spotty Labrador. A working Dalmatian used out picking up and beating across all game birds and featured in The Gun Dog Journal as the "Spotty Labrador". At Foxhope Gundogs we like all our dogs to experience everything our life has to offer whether it is a pub day, a shoot day or a show day. Each of the team compete in all aspect of this life from our gundogs competing in Crufts BASC ring, ni which we won best gamekeepers dog in 2024, along side our junior Champion Dalmatian competing in the utility ring. All our breeding dogs are extensively health tested to ensure we are bettering the breed not just breeding for the sake of breeding but breeding to make the breed as a whole better making sure they are fit and healthy to continue the line. Here at Foxhope we also offer residential and face to face training for clients who need extra help in getting that perfect dog for their lifestyle, whether temperament issues, general obedience or learning how to be a gundog, we have it covered.

Our facilities include 2 fully enclosed dog paddocks for free running safety, CCTV, Guard dog, fully insulated kennelling, real gunshot dummy launcher and a range of different training ground from water and heather, to trees and woodlands.


We pride ourselves on breeding and training quality dogs for your chosen field whether a pet gundogs or just a household companion we are fully equipped and experienced. As working dogs we still try to ensure we are working towards the breed standard set out years ago. Winning Basc was a huge achievement for our kennel as it confirmed our dogs are still working dogs, fit and toned but also have the structure that a labrador should have.
